What the Dickens is an online quiz in which teams of two - four students compete against the clock and other teams of students from all over Australia to win merit awards, book prizes and the kudos of being on top of the What the Dickens league table.

Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards

The 2008 Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards open next month. This is Australia’s biggest poetry writing event for school students, attracting more than 15,000 entries.

It’s supported by the Aust Gov and is a major event linked with National Literacy and Numeracy Week.

There are great prizes for students and schools.

The 2008 EnhanceTV ATOM Awards are now open for entries.

Established in 1982, the ATOM Awards have awarded excellence in over thirty categories of Film, Television, Animation and Multimedia for over 25 years. Since 2007, the ATOM Awards have been partnered by EnhanceTV. The 2008 EnhanceTV ATOM Awards are open to students, production companies, independent filmmakers, educational bodies and educational producers, and celebrate the very best of Australian and New Zealand product.
